Terms and Conditions Our terms are here to help and inform you, please take a moment to read them.
To order
Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our store, and click on the “add to basket” button for any items that you wish to buy, and they will be placed into your shopping basket. You will then be able to modify the order quantities.
After you have finished your selection, click the “Checkout” button for payment options. If you get stuck or need assistance, please call us on 01460 54328. Don't forget you can always place your order by phone if you prefer.
Delivery
We aim to pack & despatch your order within 24 hours of receipt and for the items to arrive with UK customers within 7 working days (typically 2-4 days) subject to stock availability. During busy periods we will endeavour to inform you if there are any delays. Please note a signature may be required on delivery.
International delivery
International deliveries on average take between 3-8 days to arrive, but some shipments can take up to 2 weeks and possibly longer depending on their end destination. We are therefore unable to guarantee a specific arrival/delivery date for overseas deliveries.
For delivery to destinations outside of the EU you may be liable to the import duties and taxes of your own country. Please note that we have no control over these charges and cannot predict their amount. Please contact your local customs office before placing your order for further information.
You will be liable for all duties and levies payable at any foreign port as a result of delivery of goods outside of the UK. You shall not be entitled to cancel your order beyond acceptance of our terms on the basis of unforeseen duties or levies. Should the goods be impounded for any reason by the Authorities of the country to which sent, payment of those duties are the recipients’ responsibilities.
All items sent through our International delivery services are insured for loss or damage in transit, unfortunately carriage costs are not, so if for whatever reason the goods are not accepted by the recipient, not collected when/where required or returned to sender then these costs are entirely at your own risk.
We are not responsible for the reliability or otherwise of any postal or courier services.
All transactions are made in British Pounds Sterling and the payment card provider calculates the exchange rate at time of transaction.
Please note that any refunds to overseas orders will be done in British Pounds Sterling for the exact amount charged by us in Pounds Sterling.
The Amazing Dolls House & Toy co cannot be held responsible for any variations in exchange rates and consequent loss of currency as a result of any such changes. We strongly recommend our customers to consider this before placing and confirming any overseas orders.
When parcels travel by air we are charged not only for the weight of the parcel but also for the amount of space the parcel takes up. In order to charge correctly for the weight and size of an item, carriers have developed an international volume to weight calculation. For parcels in excess of 25 kilos we may contact you for additional delivery charges.

Back orders
We do not offer a back order service at the moment.
Returns
We have every confidence in our products; however, it you are in anyway dissatisfied with your purchase you may return it to us within 7 days of receipt, for a full refund or replacement. In the first instance please email us at info@amazingdollshouseandtoycompany.co.uk within 7 working days of receipt of the goods, giving the reason for the return, and providing your name and order number. The goods must be in their original condition and packaging with labels intact.
Returns should be sent by post to The Amazing Dolls House & Toy Co, 24 East Street, Ilminster, Somerset TA19 0AJ (at the buyer’s expense). We regret that postage can only be refunded if the item is faulty. In the event of goods arriving damaged or not as ordered, please inform us within 24 hours, and we will be happy to replace them.
Cancellation
Once payment has been confirmed, we are unable to cancel an order. If you are unhappy with the goods once they have been received, please follow the returns procedure above.
Security
We, at The Amazing Dolls House & Toy Co, take your security very seriously and have therefore implemented online payments through World pay, an industry leader with a strong reputation regarding security. World pay automatically encrypts your confidential information in transit from your computer to theirs.
This means store pages are uploaded to a secure area of a web server that is heavily guarded both physically and electronically, to control access. When customers are submitting data over this connection (shown by the golden padlock or golden key appearing in the browser window), nobody else on the Internet will be able to read what they are typing in. This prevents the interception of credit card numbers as they are entered. So secure that even we don't see your card details!
Our computer system is protected by the very latest anti-virus software, which is automatically updated. The system is further protected by a firewall, so you can be sure that you are in safe hands!
Privacy policy
We collect only the basic personal details required to process your order. We may from time to time send you newsletters and details of special offers and promotions we are running. You may unsubscribe simply by emailing us. We will not release your name, address, email address or any other information about you, our customer, to any outside party. We will not trade, resell, sell, or redistribute information that you provide to us, to any other companies, organisations or individuals. Our security measures encrypt information while it is being transmitted across the Internet so that unauthorised people cannot read it. Small print
All prices are correct at time of press, inclusive of VAT at the current rate if appropriate. We reserve the right to change prices.
We have made every effort to ensure the description, photographic reproduction and specifications of products are correct at time of going to press. However, due to the hand finished nature of some items, slight variations may occur between actual goods and those pictured; uniformity cannot be guaranteed. We reserve the right to change the specification of products without prior notice.
The title of goods passes to the customer at the time of payment. Until such time

The Amazing Dolls House & Toy Co, under no circumstances, accepts liability for losses special to the particular circumstances of the customer, indirect or consequential losses or loss of profit, damage to property or wasted expenditure.

All contents and information on this site including without limitation text, graphic and images, are the property of The Amazing Dolls House & Toy Co or the respective owners and are protected by United Kingdom Copyright Laws. Delivery and returns Orders are sent by First Class Royal Mail or by a Carrier sevice, depending on weigth and value. On all parcels worth over £20 a signature will be required upon delivery. If an item is broken upon delivery and a replacement is required, we will pay the cost fo the return postage to us. If you wish to return or change an item, please return within 30 days in the original packaging and we will refund your money, less the cost of the outward postage. All overseas postage is charged at our cost and sent by the least expensive secure way possible. IMPORTANT! Delivery to the UK mainland is normally 2 to 3 working days, but please allow up to 6 working days. |
